Global Governance Media, part of GT Media, is an international publishing platform focused on the ideas, institutions and leadership shaping the global policy agenda. Based in London, it operates at the intersection of government, academia, multilateral institutions and industry, producing publications and partnerships that inform debate at the highest levels.
Its editorial model combines rigorous research, policy intelligence and high level storytelling to produce work that is both influential and enduring. With reach across the G7, G20 and the wider international policy landscape, Global Governance Media engages directly with decision makers in the forums where economic, political and strategic outcomes are defined.
The platform develops a portfolio of high calibre titles and special editions across global governance, international health, energy and climate, economics, diplomacy and public affairs. Each publication is shaped through collaboration with leading universities, research centres and international institutions, ensuring a clear alignment between academic depth and real world policy relevance.
As the exclusive publishing partner of Trinity College at the University of Toronto and its Global Governance Program, Global Governance Media produces flagship G7 and G20 publications in collaboration with established research communities at the forefront of international policy. Its partnerships extend across a global network of institutions, and its titles are read by leaders shaping agendas in governance, health and economic strategy.
Beyond its core collaborations, the platform works with a wider network of academic and policy institutions across North America, Europe and other key regions. This reflects the interdisciplinary nature of modern governance, where finance, development, sustainability, public health and geopolitical risk are increasingly interconnected.
Global Governance Media provides a serious platform for institutions, policymakers and industry leaders to contribute to the debates that shape international decision making, positioning its partners within the conversations that influence outcomes.

The Global Governance Program, based at Trinity College in the University of Toronto in Canada, consists of three main research groups: the G7 Research Group, founded in 1987; the G20 Research Group, established in 2008; and the BRICS Research Group, launched in 2009. It also includes the Global Health Diplomacy Program, created in 2004. It works on related plurilateral summit institutions such as NATO as well.
The three main research groups have become global networks of students, alumni, scholars and professionals, whose mission is to serve as the world’s leading independent source of information and analysis on the institutions, issues and members of the G7, G20 and BRICS. These research groups are globally known and valued for producing annual reports that track the compliance of G7, G20 and BRICS members with the commitments made by their leaders at their annual summits. They are published on the G7, G20 and BRICS Information Centre websites, which are also authoritative repositories of official documents produced by the G7, G20 and BRICS, as well as original research.
In addition to producing compliance reports and carrying out other research activities, the G7 and G20 Research Groups send a field team to each summit to provide background and historical support to the international media gathered there, and to disseminate their research and publications
